LaTanya Brooks is a children’s book author, speaker, and educator whose work is rooted in advocacy, equity, and opportunity. As an African American woman who has overcome barriers, she is driven by a lifelong belief that no child should be limited by gender, ability, or circumstance. A graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Computer Information Systems and an MBA from American InterContinental University, she transitioned from the business world to education in 2006 to make a lasting impact on future generations. Through Grow With STEM, LaTanya creates inspiring stories and learning experiences that encourage children—especially those from underrepresented communities—to dream big, see themselves in STEM careers, and realize that their potential is limitless.
